Snapsheet’s Customer Vendor Management team is looking for a Lead Software Engineer! This team is responsible for building customer-facing single page web-applications that are focused on collecting information at the start of the claims handling process. Later this year, the team will begin working on a new vendor-facing portal that will facilitate providing supporting details and documentation. This will be a new statically hosted web application that will require discovery, architecture and implementation on the frontend, making this the perfect role for someone that is eager to make a big impact. What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Adding frontend functionality within the existing architecture to leverage the new JSON API endpoints to configure data on our backend
  • Build FE components to support capturing estimates, supplements and invoices for vendors
  • Collaborate with other engineers, product management and design to identify and solve challenging problems
  • Contribute to and lead technical design processes and provide improvement suggestions and feedback
  • Play an influential role in growing Snapsheet to be the industry leader in technology
  • Work in an agile environment and participate in daily stand ups, weekly planning, etc.
  • Proactively identifies issues and performance improvement opportunities
  • Advocates for best practices and standards

Nice to Haves:
  • BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field
  • 4-5+ years of full stack web development experience
  • Prior use Ruby on Rails or React is a plus
  • Experience leading larger projects and being the POC (Primary Point of Contact)
  • Experience Planning, Scoping and creating architecture documentation
  • Experience mentoring junior developers
  • Eagerness to learn from and work with a collaborative team
  • Passionate about technology and creating cutting-edge solutions
