About the role:
PlanOmatic is looking for a talented Backend Software Developer to work with our in-house web development team to help our technology department achieve their goals.
This opportunity is a 9 Month Contract - possibility for extension to be determined by EOY
This is a 1099 role.
Who You Are
- 2+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
- 5+ years of experience with server-side web applications (Ruby, Java, Python)
- 2+ years experience with SQL database
- 5+ years experience with database design experience
- 5+ years experience with building APIs
- Experience with agile task tracking software like ClickUp or JIRA.
- Good at writing comprehensive tasks based on meetings and requests.
- Strong communication with developers, product owners and others with institutional knowledge.
- Located in the United States or in a time zone between Pacific Time (+1 MST) to São Paulo Time (-3 MST).
- Ability to maintain a regular schedule, committing to 20 - 40 hours per week
