Lexop is looking for an experienced Back-end Ruby developer — open to remote work within Canada.

Under the Director of Software Development, you'll have the opportunity to put your Ruby skills to the test, on a mission to help humanize an archaic process, in collaboration with Product Owner, Scrum Master, Product Designer and all the developers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Be part of the development planning and peer-reviewing processes
  • Build integrations
  • Work alongside designers, developers and product managers to create beautiful and amazing features
  • Focus on maintainability, flexibility and scalability (and lots of other fun core values)
  • Work alongside designers, developers and product managers to create a beautiful and amazing thing

Role Requirements:
  • Rails 6.0+
  • Ruby 2.7+
  • Test-driven development
  • Agile and Scrum workflow
  • API development.  
  • 6+ years of experience

Bonus skills:
  • Experience with payment gateways and integrations
  • Experience with PCI compliance and security requirements
  • Performance analysis and optimization (database, process execution ...)
